What is the difference between the platform and the proposal service?+
On the platform, you build the proposals yourself. You pay one flat monthly price and get everything: unlimited projects, layouts on a satellite photo of the property, material lists priced at your own rates, proposals your client can sign online, compliance checks as you design, clients and sub-contractors invited to comment and message on the job, changes logged on site, crew scheduling, council packs, and a client page under your own brand. With the proposal service, we build the proposal for you. You send photos and a short description, and we send back a finished proposal your client can sign, usually within two working days. You pay per proposal, with no monthly fee.
Is the platform only for sending proposals?+
No. The proposal is one part of it. The platform is where the job lives before and after the sale: change the design, reprice options, collect signatures, log changes from site, schedule crews, and keep every version in one account. If you only need a proposal now and then, use the proposal service. If you want to run the business in one place, use the platform.
Do I need the platform if I use the proposal service?+
No. The proposal service works on its own, and nobody on your team has to use any software. You still get an account in your business name, so your rates and finished proposals are kept there. When you are ready to build proposals yourself, you move to the platform without re-entering anything.
Can I use both, or switch later?+
Yes. Many contractors start with the proposal service while they are busy selling, then move to the platform when they want to build every proposal in-house. It is the same account, so your supplier prices, your clients and every proposal we built carry over. Your first month on the platform is free. Already on the platform? In a heavy week you can still send us a job from inside your account for R450.
Which should I start with?+
The proposal service if you want a finished proposal without learning software, only quote now and then, or need to win a job this week. The platform if you quote regularly and want more than proposals: control of the design, unlimited projects, your team on one account, changes on site, and scheduling. Your first proposal from the service is free, and so is your first month on the platform, so you can try either before you pay.
