Who is SiteTower built for?
SiteTower is purpose-built for South African exterior contractors — pool builders, landscapers, solar installers, security fencing specialists, pond contractors, and sports/play area builders. If you design on site and quote in ZAR, it's built for you.
Do I need design experience to use the 3D canvas?
No. The canvas runs over real satellite imagery and uses preset footprints for courts, pools, decks, and more. You trace what's already there, drop a preset, and the BOM engine does the math.
How does the Bill of Materials work?
The BOM engine reads your drawing — perimeter lengths, areas, volumes — and applies SA trade formulas to work out component quantities: concrete, decking boards, fencing posts, solar panels, pumps. You review and adjust before it reaches the quote, but you are editing a takeoff rather than building one.
How accurate are measurements taken off the satellite view?
Scale comes from Google Maps imagery. That's accurate enough to lay a job out and quote it, but it isn't a surveyed site plan and we won't pretend otherwise. Where a dimension has to be exact, measure one edge on site and calibrate the drawing against it — the rest of the plan rescales to match. Quote off the drawing; set out off your tape.
Can clients pay their deposit through SiteTower?
Not yet — and we'd rather say so than surprise you. Clients review, choose their options, and sign in SiteTower; you invoice and collect the deposit the way you do today. Online card and EFT collection is on the roadmap, and founding customers get a direct say in when it lands.
Does it sync with Xero, Sage, or Zoho?
Not at launch. What you get instead is one place where every accepted quote, change order, and job total already lives — so your bookkeeper is reading a single record rather than reconstructing it from WhatsApp and paper. Direct accounting integrations come once the design-to-quote core is right.
